Advance online bookings are recommended for indoor dining room tables… However, we always do our absolute best to seat walk-ins al fresco or up at the bar tables. If the weather is okay for outdoor seating, come hang out on the front patio.

Your best bet if the booking system is off for the night (after 4:30pm) is to just walk on in.

During the warmer months (weather permitting) we have lots of outdoor seats for walk-ins in our al fresco areas. Bring a jumper for after sunset.

Our tall bar tables are also great for walk-ins. The tall bar tables rotate all night from open to close. Best for groups of two. Come and enjoy. Our full menu is available up at the bar.

Hot tip for walk-ins seeking dining room tables specifically (not tall bar tables or outdoor seats). Try for a shoulder time slot e.g. 5:00-5:30 or 7:45-8:15.

Ooze & Tang is not just for full meals (although, the food is incredible). Feel free to treat us like a cocktail/wine bar. You can just pop in for a drink and/or snack at the bar, that’s absolutely fine. Legally the bar closes when our kitchen does, about 9pm.

If attempting to book on same day as your desired reservation, please note that our online booking system turns off for the evening at 4:30pm. Feel free to Email or DM us on our socials (insta is best) regarding same-day availability. We don’t have a phone number - this is to keep the vibes flowing peacefully in our dining room. No stress, unless it’s a long weekend Saturday, or Valentines day etc. Then we will have room for walk-ins outdoors or up at the bar.

You don’t have a booking until you authorise your card details in the booking system and receive a confirmation email. It’s a secure two factor authentication. It is not a deposit. It just secures the table for you. The $10 per head is only charged if you no-show or cancel with under 24hrs notice.
